The Results....

So I found out (not from my doctor but from another source) that basically the area in question seems to be overlapping cartilage which would cause pain and I also have a small cyst on my liver but I don't think this is what is causing the pain. I have been told that both are nothing to worry about but I still need to discuss with my doctor where we go from here. Does the cartilage heal if that's what the pain is coming from or is this just something I live with? Either way I'm so thankful it's nothing serious although I am a little surprised they found a cyst but apparently it's pretty common, most people just don't know they have them until they have something like an MRI done.

Thanks everyone for your prayers and nice comments! I'm going to try my hardest to not think every little thing is something terrible and enjoy the fact that today we are all healthy and happy and really that's all that matters.

  2. I am glad to hear you're okay. I decided last year I was very sick too-lol! In the end I had a cyst on my ovary, which has since gone away. Thank goodness for scans is all I can say :)

Thanks for the comment on my blog today. I've actually visited your blog and your "where to start" post before. I found you originally from the BabyCenter forums. Even though we don't have a confirmed diagnosis I strongly feel that our baby does have DS. This is our first baby so I'm a bit overwhelmed with the idea of parenting anybody, but I'm sure things will be wonderful once our baby arrives.

  7. Adrienne I am so glad to hear everything is ok. I do the same thing and it drives me nuts. My sister passed away 3 1/2 years ago at the age of 30 from melanoma which turned to brain cancer(Too much info?) so now every time I have the slightest twinge I think it is cancer. I pray that one day this fear will go away.I know He is in control...guess I need to live it more. Again, Im glad everything is well, now go enjoy thoses precious babies.

  10. Good to hear it is nothing serious. I often wonder what they'd find if they scanned my whole body. Why can't they do that in preventative medicine? LOL
