I made these over the 4th of July weekend and all the kids thoroughly enjoyed them. Very easy to make- peanut butter cookie dough, rolled into 1 inch balls and put into mini muffin pans at 350 degrees for about 12-15 minutes and then press mini snickers and m&ms into cookies as soon as they come out of the oven. That's it! I suggest unwrapping the snickers while the cookies are baking. I got the recipe from the latest Southern Living Magazine so you can check out the other variations for this recipe. I'm telling you, they're yummy and a crowd pleaser for sure! Plus they look pretty too:)
Edited to add: also a great recipe for kids to help with- Ainsley enjoyed helping me with this one!
Those look yummy!! What a great idea - thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteTo answer your question Joel has had a blocked tear duct in his left eye since birth. He has had two surgeries on it and although it is a bit better it still tears every once in a while.
Before they booked Joel for surgery the doctor said to wait 1 year. Usually blocked tear ducts fix themselves within a year. If they don't then they can probe them.
I did a little research and found out that blocked tear ducts occur more frequently in children with Down syndrome. I also learned that the sucess rate with probing or dialtion is not as high. This may be due to the fact that their ducts are smaller to begin with.
Just some information to keep in mind!
YUM! Looks good to me!
