I know many of you have seen some of the Christmas pics I took the other weekend but I thought I'd share some of the outtakes! As many of you know, attempting to take pictures of your children is not always the easiest, most pleasant thing to do, well unless you're a professional...which I am not. I did this by myself because Mike was out of town but I was determined to get a good shot, which to my surprise I got many but of course there were many not so good ones in between....
Bennett looks cute, Ainsley looks stressed and who knows what Harper is doing.
"Get your arm off of me!"
Harper's cheesin' it and Bennett looks like he may fall over.
Nice tongue Ainsley. Harper isn't too interested in this.

This is Joyce. Oh I have a drawer full of outtakes. Especially because when my kids were that age digital had not yet been created so every picture had to be developed. The funny things is as they get older, we enjoy those even more than the "perfect" poses.
ReplyDeleteADORABLE!!!!!!! We get our professionally taken, and I'm dreading it this year!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteha ha, yes it will be really fun next year. You did get some cute ones though, and little b has the sweetest smile ever. I think this year I am finding a card that I can put 4 individual pictures into....it is getting too hard with one happy group shot.
ReplyDeleteI love those pictures!! Harper just cracks me up - what a funny girl! You really do have such beautiful kids.
ReplyDeleteI love these and TOTALLY understand..you are a brave woman doing these yourself, even the professionals have trouble..we did family pics, they are to come..you can see the stress on Mike and I :)
ReplyDeleteSo cute! Isn't it funny how if it's not one it's the other? We have to do this too, I wonder how many shots it will take? :)
ReplyDeleteBennett's smiles are all SO CUTE!! I love them! And I love the "bored" faces, haha! I couldn't stop laughing! I think they turned out great, you did awesome!
ReplyDeleteBennett's smile in the last shot is precious. Way to go on the shots, I still need to get out and find their outfits for the pictures. Adorable!
ReplyDeleteHaha!! LOVE it!! : )
ReplyDeleteYour out takes are better than my pictures that usually end up on the card!
ReplyDeleteWe've started a new tradition. About four years ago we started getting our Christmas tree from the farm. That's where we take our picture for our card. We go on Friday.Wish me luck!
I keep procrastinating family pictures this year. My hubby wants the 2 dogs involved too - hmmm. Love your 'commentary' too, on your pics.
ReplyDeleteVery cute! Reminds me of trying to gets pictures at our house. You think it would get easier as they get older, but it doesn't.
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love family pics. Your comments made me laugh. Such cute kids!!!
